My husband has lost his wallet. How worried should we be?
My husband lost his wallet yesterday. In it he had all his credit cards and bank cards, which have now been cancelled. The bit I’m worried about is he had his driving license and our council tax bill in there, 2 forms of I.D. Whenever you get anything set up, you need to forms of I.D, a bill and photo. So now I’m worried about identidy theft.
If he was ‘targeted’ by ID thrives, yes you should be concerned.
However chances are it was just some dumb pickpocket who was after some quick cash .. and who would not have the knowledge (or contacts) to make ‘proper’ use of the ID ..
Even so, I assume the Police have been informed (especially about the Driving License, which could turn up in the hands of ‘joy riders’ ) ..
You could perhaps, advise the Credit Reference agencies (I believe they have a ‘paid for’ service that will inform you of any Credit Check on your account (such as required when applying for a new account / loan).
In the USA I believe it’s possible to place a ‘block’ on your account, however (as usual) the UK is still in the dark ages when it comes to crime prevention ..

How Do I use paypal With Y! Wallet?
When I go to purchase Yahoo services only Credit Card Options come up where I have to enter My Credit Card Info. I set up Yahoo! Wallet and My pay pal Account is listed but I never Get the option to use it. Any Ideas?
I think if you transact with Ebay. Yahoo has just partnered with Pay Pal. It is so new that the Yahoo Wallet hasn`t set up directions to do it yet.
