how can you tell the difference between a real a real designers wallet/bag?
well there are specific things to look for a certain label but here are some tips that are more or less valid for all authentications:
- fake leather/materials: all designer bags will be made of the finest materials. Anything that looks sub par indicates a fake.
- bad stitching: designer bags are normally handmade and sewn by professionals. Any bad/crooked stitching will indicate a fake.
- you bought it on the street: all bags sold on the street are fake. Period.
- the price is too good to be true: very obvious even used designer bags wil rarely be sold for more then. 25% off of the original price.
- the Seller is from china/Asia and/or is selling multiples of the same bag or designer: true for ebay, many counterfit goods are made in china or bought in bulk.
- the pattern on the bag doesnt match up: designer items are made with the upmost attention paid to details. Small errors could just be part of an irregular but many errors and it is most likely a fake.
- the bag style was never made by the desinger: many fakes are made of styles that were never actually produced by the designer. Do your research and get a good idea of popular styles of the brand.
- bad hardware: fake metal, sewn on crooked and dullness of the hardware indicates a fake.
