Would you buy an original designer handbag or a knockoff? Like a Louis Vuitton?
Or would you rather buy a less expensive handbag?
I am debating among buying a Louis Vuitton Bag, a Coach bag and a Marc Jacobs bag.
The LV would be a coated/laminated canvas, versus leather bags from Coach and Marc Jacobs. I really like the look of LV but I found out their LV Monogram and Damier are not leather, the only leather part of these bags are the handles(straps). And I love the soft feel (and scent) of leather so I’m torn.
I only have a budget for one designer bag, so what are you suggestions?
the handles on the LV actually fade pretty quickly, and some people LOVe that look.
For me, i’m not a fan. Marc Jacobs was actually one of the famous main designers for LV in a lot of the lines/campaigns, and still is, except he’s more focused on his own line. I’d prefer a Marc Jacobs bag, because his bags are classy, simple, and elegant and dont preach a monogram logo that’s evident of a designer label.
i think that the quality of the bag should speak for itself, rather than a logo, like Louis or Coach.
Coach is also great, but in comparison to Louis, or Marc Jacobs, you really can’t compare the 3 becuase they’re in such different price ranges.
