Canal street (aka Chinatown area). They have all of the knock-off designer purses, cheap jewelry, etc.
I got pashminas 3 for $10, lucite bead necklaces for $2, and fake Louis Vitton for $35-40. Take a friend, and take cash. It is a great place to get souveniers to take your friends. The overhead is lower in that area, so the venders sell things more cheaply than you may find on other more touristy areas.
If you’ve never been down to Canal Street before, the vendors stand out on the corners saying (in broken english–very cute!) “Purse! Purse!’ Coach, Chanel, Gucci”…then they will take you to a back room b/c they can’t sell it on the street.
p.s. The Asian vendors are less inclined to sell the fake Louis Vitton b/c they can get busted by the cops…the African gentlemen on the street should be able to help you out, though…they should be able to show you a picture and bring it to you.

I would a silver or a bronze-ish color purse goes with everything. I’m pretty sure pewter would go with a lot of things to. The best color that would go with silver would have to be light blue-ish color. For Bronze color i would say pink. And for pewter i would think red, or like peach/salmon-ish color would go good together.
You could probably find all of these colors in an office appropriate outfit. Good luck finding your purse!
