What is the difference between a replica designer handbag, and a regular fake/imitation/knockoff?
Is there any difference at all? As a replica, does that mean that the quality is better, and closer to an authentic designer handbag?
I know the difference between a REAL and a FAKE.
I want to know the difference between a FAKE and a “REPLICA”, if there is any difference at all.
ok, well there are TONS of differences between a replica and a real designer bag.
-for one most replicas are made in sweatshops,and then illegally imported into the U.S, so if you’re thinking about buying one, dont.
-however if you just want to know the difference then:
-the real thing is ALWAYS better quality than a knockoff. im sorry, but i think if you pay hundreds or thousands for a bag, you’re going to get better quality then if you pay 20 bucks
-its easy to tell a knockoff from an authentic bag in most cases because:
1. the leather is fake. almost all of those quilted
“leather” bags you see are fake leather, and you can
tell because the leather is way too reflective, and
looks plastic.
2. A real designer bag will actually have the designers
logo on it somewhere. If you look at the knockoff
Coach’s you can tell that the C’s are actually G’s or
they are connected, so that it looks like the bag is
real when its not.
3. It’s not hard to tell a knockoff from a authentic bag.
everything on a replica is of lower quality. On a
replica the lining is fake silk, the leather is not real,
and nowhere on the bag will it actually say the
designers name.

When you see a designer handbag, do you only like it because of the designer name? If you saw it on another women’s shoulder without the designer logo visible would you still like it? For a lot of people (even though they won’t admit it) the answer is no! The majority of people interested designer handbags these days do not know much about the bags themselves, all they know is a designer logo or name. If these people were to see a Fendi Handbag right in front of them they wouldn’t know it was a Fendi unless they could see the logo, therefore they would not like the bag as much. Its extremely frustrating for women who own authentic designer handbags to get comments like “oh I love your Prada Handbag” but in reality if the women making that comment didn’t see the logo on her bag she wouldn’t look twice at it. A lot of “handbag lovers” these days don’t like the bag itself, they just like the logo, and just because these people recognize a couple logos doesn’t make them handbag enthusiasts.

Is it possible?… yes… but then it’s also possible she will be spotted. There is NO WAY anyone on Answers can answer that question because there are too many variables… it all depends on how sharp the Customs agents are when she enters the U.S.
