How to Clean the stitching on a burnished leather handbag?
So my mom gave me one of her used Coach Handbags it is in really good condition with a couple really light scratches, but that doesn’t bother me as much as the stitching, it used to be white when she bought it, but now the stitching detail is more of a dirty white or beige color, I was going to take it to a leather shoe repair store for restoration, but I’m not sure if it will help the stitching contrast at all? I just want to get the stitching clean and the purse will look practically brand new.
Please help.
Cleaning stitching can be hard, as you don’t want to fray it. Using a brush wouldn’t be the best way as the bristles could cause friction and may cause the stitching to fray.
